How much experience did you have of playing rugby before joining the Corsairs?
I played rugby growing up and in school but hadn't played for 10 years before joining the Corsairs.

How did you first hear about Coventry Corsairs RFC?
Through social media.

What made you decide to join the club?
I always felt slightly out of place in a traditional team so I decided to give the Corsairs a go, and I've never looked back. Everybody is welcomed - no matter your experience or background.

What's the best part of being a member of the Corsairs?
There's always a great atmosphere within the team and there's always someone to chat to if you need to.

What are you most proud of achieving since joining the club?
I never thought I would get back into rugby so I'm proud of that. Also, there is becoming Vice-Chairman which allows me to help out with the day-to-day running of the Club.

What's your favourite memory of being part of Coventry Corsairs RFC?
There's been a few great moments but for me it was my first full game of contact rugby and putting in a few good tackles.

What advice would you give to anyone thinking of joining the club?
Come along and give it a go - you won't regret it!
